Need to know and helpful tips
If you search google for how to visit Russian Space Center, you will find millions of useless links steering you to different local travel agencies in US. How do these US travel agencies work? That’s not a secret - they work with Moscow travel agencies. The bottomline is that you pay 3 to 5 times for your tour of Yu. Gagarin Russian Cosmonaut Training Center. Do you really want to do that? We think no.
With visitgctc.com neither local US travel agencies nor Moscow travel agencies are involved in that process. That is why our tour price is relatively low and it is reasonable. With us you work directly with those who physically fulfill tours.
Planning in advance your visit to Russian Space Center (while planning your trip to Moscow) is a key to success. When you first time think about visiting Russian Space Center – send us a short notice about your possible visit. Even if you think you might not be able to come and visit us – that’s not a problem. You do not have to pay in advance. No booking or cancellation fees. All we need from you is just a notification about your possible visit. You pay for the tour the day it is scheduled to happen.
Why do I need to notify visitgctc.com? Yuri Gagarin Space Center is an active and alive training base to train Russian cosmonauts and American, European and Japanese astronauts for space flights on Russian space ship called "Soyuz" and be able to operate stations’ systems safely. It is required for all visitors to have special access permission. It takes about 2 months to obtain it. That’s why the sooner you notify us the more flexibility you have.
You do not have to schedule a specific day for touring while planning your trip to Moscow. When your flight tickets have been purchased and trip’s timeframe is set – you can choose or set a day for a tour. But do not be late – slots available are occupied very quickly.
Remember: first thing to do is to notify us about your possible visit as soon as possible. No booking or cancellation fees. Just let us know that you may visit us during your stay in Moscow.
